The easiest way to learn faster is by opening Youtube, searching for the lecture of the topic you want to learn and play it in 1.25x speed, once you are comfortable with that speed gradually increase it to 1.5x and then 1.75x and 2x. It will usually take 1-2 days if you are watching long lectures (6-7 hour).
I have tested whether it works or not and it does work certainly. I retained the information just as easily as when I was retaining in 1x speed of a lecture.
Also it would help you a lot if you also use higher playback in the normal videos you watch to pass time.

Try not to zone out.
