How to tell if my maxilla is recessed ?

Flat sideprofile, underbite, narrow palette, or downturned nose can all be indicative of a recessed maxilla. It can be caused by mouthbreathing, pacifiers as an infant, only having soft foods during development, or genetics especially if you are asian.
