This is false. An ad-hominem has to be correct and show a bias of your debate opponent to change a debate. For example if a white woman says that boys should wesr dresses you can accurately point out that an african woman wouldn‘t have said so since dresses are impeding mobility which could take the boys chance of saving himself up a tree if chased by a Hyena.
