because when I see married couples walking around in public a lot of the time it looks like hell

getting married is making a commitment to God to be with someone else and I don't want to do that

Look at how many marriages end up in divorce and financial ruin and depression etc etc

Moreover theres other issues like parenting and financial decisions which I may not see eye to eye with my partner
