Ok so for context theres this movie theater near me that plays movies on film. no digital bullshit none of that.

I HATE IT WHEN they make a print off of a movie that was shot DIGITALLY. Like n***a thats the most ass backwards thinking ever. Like okay, if its a 4k-6k digital intermediate scan of the original negatives, sure whatever. but to print a digital movie out and make us pay 12 bucks for is crazy…

anyways had to get my nerd rage out abt this shit, go see the odyssey in imax btw

Yeah its got the dust n shit but aside from that, it has the potential for capturing high image quality at a larger size without all the weird digital projection side effects. it all depends on how a movie is shot tho. like oh my lord n***a i thought a movie from 1975 could not look any better like holy fuckkk (talking abt jaws btw). that shit was actually life changing.
