Ribcage has basically nothing to do with your waist, also you can do exercises that change how it sits so it appears smaller

Are your hips just rlly small or is your waist big? You might just need to change how you eat or you can do exercises to relax your ribcage. Alot of people also mistakenly do exercises that make their waist bigger by gaining too much muscle on the sides

My hips are about 39 inches and my waist is 32 so I'm just fat and need to eat lesss, I likely also need to do squats with equipment
