It might be hard, especially if youre living in a small town/city
Maybe start working on ur mental health first, and start liking being alone, doing stuff by yourself without depending on anyone, so that by the time you get into another relationship in the future you dont feel the need to rely on someone and it doesnt end with the same emotional pain, & learn the art of detachment
Maybe focus on some hobbies/skills that youre really interested in, and if youre really insecure abt ur looks try improving, thats whats helped me with my self esteem (but dont overdo it youll feel absolutely miserable)

my mental health is too far gone trust me i’ve tried to fix myself 3 times, i always relapse some time
