And I doubt you were good if you played just a few times, I think maybe you just know the rules and you think that.

i mean obviously, im not as good as someone that plays regularly, i meant good as in im capable of thinking of strategies when playing (with friends that also arent regular chess players)
and i know the moves are unlimited, its just not entertaining when you limit yourself to only playing with such specific rules, its rather a thing of taste, i prefer games where i can be more creative rather than just think logically

Not to mention that due to inherent differences in body structure, it’s not a fair game in the same sense which allows for a lot more interesting strategies imo. If we say that something like chess has a very large, but finite number of games, something like MMA has literally infinite.
