I have transcended to a higher plane of existence. I’m sorry if I cannot be the person you think I am. I would rather be me, myself and I. Such a day (if it ever comes to you) would truly be your most cherished. I love you all nonetheless.

Nice to see you stepping in the footsteps of my ancestors. They were Buddhists, and responsible for spreading Buddhism to East Asia.

when did I say he wasn't brah? I'm just being honest my n***a.
You didn't, but I thought I was sharing some groundbreaking information with you. As it turns out, it was just... water.

ok bodhidharma/raja chola
I'm not joking, I have sent proof to someone here just now. I can claim them as my ancestors, not even a case of 'we wuzzing' because I've got the genetic proof. :D

It's not a flex to be Dravidian bro 🥀
There's nothing wrong with being Dravidian. That said, they weren't Dravidian, they were ancient Indo-Aryans. They existed from 1200 B.C. until 1000 C.E. It coincides with the invading Afghans. I wonder if my ancestors left their place of dwelling before or after the invasion of the Afghans. Get this, Afghans ended up there because these Afghan tribes could never get along with each other. That's low-key funny asf.

Funny you mention the Steppe model. It doesn't apply to me, because the ancestors I was referring to, they were the only region in South Asia that received a female-mediated Steppe input, in the rest of South Asia, it's a male-mediated Steppe input. That said, I don't have Steppe haplogroups either (unlike most South Asians) so I am really unsure why you had to bring Steppe into this?

Because you mentioned indo Aryans and the date of their inception. Swat valley wasnt the only region, and most South Asians don't have a steppe haplogroup

You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Swat Valley was, in fact, the only region in South Asia that received a female-mediated wave Steppe input. Most South Asians do have at least one Steppe haplogroup (R1a-Z93). Also, my point was never about the Indo-Aryans, I only corrected you when you called them Dravidians. We all know the real Aryans are the Iranians but that's not what I was talking about.

This is all very outdated information with regards to haplos and the significance of swat valley.I see you're not keyed in with what is happening. I meant Dravidians who spread to SEA , I know the earlier waves but there were many and it wasn't unidirectional either ( Gandhara for eg.). Also haplogroups are unique, you can't have more than one.

You can and will have more than one haplogroup. But that depends on your gender. Women only have one haplogroup (maternal haplogroup), whereas men have two haplogroups (a paternal and maternal haplogroup).

In regards to Swat Valley or Gandhara in general, I was only pointing out that I'm a descendant of theirs (which genetic testing had proved).

Of course there were multiple Steppe waves into South Asia, but they were mostly male-mediated waves, the only exception was in Swat Valley where they experienced a female-mediated Steppe wave. It makes sense, I score a good amount of Steppe even though I don't have any Steppe haplogroups. But again, I don't know why we are mentioning Steppe in the first place. I care way more about Iran_N since it makes up more than 50% of my DNA. The rest is roughly equally divided between Steppe and SAHG, both in their low 20s% for me.

Anyway, you're clearly Indian (based on your other thread where you were hating on an East Asian because he was trash-talking Indians), so what kind of Indian are you? And if you have your DNA testing done, what are your haplogroups?

What you're talking about is the Kurganist model bro which is why I said it's cringe. These waves were too late and too small to account for indo iranian languages. And maternal haplogroups arent that relevant for tracing invasion/ migrations. Swat Valley might not be an isolated case , I recommend this blog if you want to know why the current model has many flaws. I'm similar, 60 percent iran n 20 sahg 20 steppe

I recently came across something where they said a-genetics is known to be a propagandist not to be taken seriously. Lol. What are your haplogroups? Interesting that you have a similar breakdown as me, so what are you exactly? Feel free to DM if you don't want it out in the open.
