It's fucking dogshit when it comes to customizeability , I can't use extensions, doesn't even have browser history and tons of other functions, it looks horrible. But it's much faster and efficient , no bloatware. I use my foruma fine and it's honestly easier

I use Safari, never troubled myself with changing.
For security and safety, use a non-chromium based browser, like Firefox (there's better).
For comfort, just use chrome.

On PC ? Chrome is good but ugly and glitchy. Privacy focused chromium is good in my experience, but ye non chromium as well

Impossible to use forums like that unfortunately . I might try a barebones one that just supports the forum software . Code my own shi type beat

I wouldn't even know where to start on a browser nor do I intend to try.
Seems like it takes a lot of knowledge on networking, multiple languages and a shit ton of time.

fork temple os theory
It's one of the few os' with a built-in browser, and which you can basically modify anything. It's very old and buddy tho so probably not.
