its a scary scary thing
the logical thing to do is just stop substances as a whole but i see drugs the same way as other copes, theyre made to alter ur state of mind into happy/sadnesss/nostalgia/content/etc....
so its hard to stop, ive been addicted to otehr copes and id argue they have to same aeffect as substance abuse but the risk of substance abuse is larger so im just conflicted at this point in my life
