Ok, so yeah I use a shampoo that’s specialized for my Seb Deem. It’s harsh, but fortunately not too bad. I use it 3 times a week.

However, I found out recently that conditioner supposedly helps with preventing my hair from looking like dog meat on shampoo days?

1. Is this true?

2. If so, what’s the best conditioner?

3. How should I use it in the shower? After shampooing? On my scalp? Rinse off right away? Leave on for a couple of minutes?

find ones that are lightweight, fragrance-free and non-irritating, you can ask chatgpt for this

no need to apply it to ur scalp, just the ends is fine, and apply it after you rinse the shampoo of ur head then leave it in for around 2 minutes

Thank you! May I ask which conditioner you use, and does it help?

Hey man, I bet you’re a lot greater than you think you are. :)

Anyway, thank you for the advice and reply!

Don’t use it on your scalp ever , just on your hair leave it for a min and then rinse it , try to avoid the conditioner touching the scalp at all and yah use it after the shampoo as for the best brand you have to see what’s available where you live just make sure it dosent have sulfate, parabens or silicones or alcohol obviously

How can I make sure it doesn’t reach my scalp?

I just checked the conditioner my mom gave me and it has half of the ingredients you named. What do I do?

Sometimes hair needs sulfates if you are in need of a deep clean/clarify (obviously not the case here)

No it’s trash
Most clarifying shampoos contain sulfates, they make some without them but again, they are more deep-cleaning, that said not everybody needs clarifying shampoo anyways
