I need makeup advice

I put my makeup on in the morning and it looks fine, but then later throughout the day it separates. I have no idea what could be causing it. All of my products are water based so its not that I use both silicone and water based. Any Ideas on what could be causing this or how to fix it?

Do you use powder?

I use cream products and then a little setting poweder

I usually blend until it looks like skin, i use a damp beauty blender and i keep blending my cream products till its like well blended also little is more atleast thats what worked best for me, my makeup would seperate and look more cakey when id use like alot. I used to set my entire face but now i do very lil amounts of powder on my t zone or js under my eyes and wherever it looks like “shiny” but sometimes i just dont use powder at all OOH also with the powder puff like when u get the powder, tap some of it onto the back of your hand so u get the lil amount of powder i was talking abt, also good skin prep makes a veryyy big difference too!!!

It’s completely normal to need to touch up your makeup throughout the day. Just always carry a small bag with your essentials
