i respect unattractive people more than attractive ones

if attractive people get given good characteristics due to the halo effect without any effort, then i have decided to override that biological reaction by dispensing those characteristics to ‘ugly’ people

I understand their reaction moreso than those of attractive people who go on to be cruel/manipulative/bully-ish because society allows them to be.

In a way it is more admirable that the majority of their hate remains directed inwards towards themselves instead of acting outwards which a significant portion of attractive people do without real justification.

and given the injustice they’ve faced by society due to their genetics i find that response to be very reasonable.

tell me, what reason does let’s say regina from mean girls have to be such an awful person? none, that sort of archetype has only received the best treatment from society. you might say well she’s purposefully constructed as a mean girl, then why do people who watch the movie unironically praise her as ‘iconic’ or a ‘queen’?

attractive people are already loved for their genetics, but they become even more loved when acting cruelly.
