Rage i STOLE a foid's phone and i NEED HELP

i've never stolen a phone before, i just did it on a whim so i'm not too familiar

SO a foid forgot her iphone 17 on a bench

she looked pretty dumb in appearance which makes me hopeful

i turned it on and it required a pin but no face ID so i just took it

according to my calculations i SHOULD be able to figure out the pin by the fingerprints on the screen but if there is a better method lmk

i haven't touched the phone with my skin and i'm planning to stash it somewhere away from my house til i manage to unlock and factory reset it

my questions are,
how do i make sure it doesn't get traced?
should i even worry about it getting traced somehow?
how much can i sell it for? it's in flawless condition pretty much

it works for a little bit depending how much battery there was when you powered it off
Once it’s completely dead and powered off yes find my iPhone won’t work, like it’ll just show the last location it got signal from.

Connect it to ur computer with a usb and reset/wipe the phone completely clean use ChatGPT and YouTube to help you

The phone has like an id type thing so if she reports it as stolen even if u factory reset, sell it and the person who buys it tries to connect it to their mobile network it will show it was stolen and won’t let them. This has happened to me when I bought a stolen phone
