my taste intervene with my skill level. As simple as that really. But I think it goes far deeper than me not having the skills that I want. I’m really into distorted, psychedelic music and whenever I try to make a track within that sound, it’s just never possible for me. But whenever I start to play more acoustic, quieter songs, I sound really great. But the thing is that I don’t really feel like playing that type of music. I like how it sounds, but I really still am in love with the aforementioned sounds and I want to replicate them. But I just suck.

I also think I have to stop playing guitar and get into drums. Since I don’t have any drum tracks, it’s really hard to create a really basic backing track for myself. Loops and pre-recorded tracks just don’t sound as great as what I have in my head. So I think I have to just start playing drums soon.

Why do you HAVE to get into drums?

Why do you HAVE to get into drums?
Because I’m a control freak and I want to play aggressively or quieter than most of the r****d drummers out here. And its kinda hard for me to take sampled drums seriously if i use them in a track. just doesnt work with me for some reason.
