To prevent the spread of hate and harassment of people of different ethnicities, cultures, religions and backgrounds. It’s stupid how easily hate is perpetuated in these eco chambers and what seems like a harmless forum light weight joke has quite severe impacts on the afflicted groups. It’s cringe to see it as well, I imagine my perception of people’s faces next to their profiles and get the ick, they wouldn’t do any of this in real life and are mostly victims of eco chambers but also proponents of hate and extremism.
