I wasn’t grateful enough for my time with her when i had it

It is always like this. You only understand the value of something once you lose it. You don’t realize how lucky you are just to breathe until you can barely do it because you’re sick. I hate that this is how humans are. I can’t fully enjoy a moment without thinking that it will eventually end. Sometimes I hate how temporary everything is and how life can feel meaningless.
