bc american democracy is shit and just puppets
we need a more direct democracy, better education, and not a winner takes all bs, instead everyone should be able to give ideas and make compromises at the table

Majority of the country are fat divorced alcoholics in debt
if they can't even make good decisions about their own lives, how can they make decisions for the whole country

i think a mix is good
educated people from diverse ideas of academics help pitch in
and representatives across these diverse parties sit at the table and discuss compromises calmly
 
Half the users commenting in this thread are clueless about US election and don't know that it is based on the Electoral College. They are rooting for trump and kamla as if it is their favorite football player or something. I think kamala probably will be winning a few of those swing states but Trump is definitely going to win the Electoral even tho he might not be getting the popular vote.

Realistically kids should start learning calculus in middle school or at least precalc
We should cut PE and shit like spanish

W, i knew precalc in ms
yes PE should be cut out
my idea is bare minimum 3 hours a day for school (45 each mins for: language, mathematics, science, history)
all work days except wednesday, so only 4 days of school a week
rest are electives and clubs which are optional
there you can do sports, music, arts, furthering of the aforementioned subjects, other languages

No, the electoral college was made for a reason. It was to prevent a mob majority. Read some of the early father's if you want a glimpse on why it was made. Also, you people think you have some moral highground because you don't support either candidate. All this means is that you are passive and indecisive, not that you have some moral highground

people in states tend to be forgotten if they are not the majority city
for example, NYC has the majority of the population, and they vote blue and other stuff
that means that electorally, nyc is going to dominate and represent the entirerty of NY
meanwhile other cities in NY which vote for other president for policies, because they have their own needs and situations, will fail to receive this presidential support, only the majority in a certain region of the state gets what they want

Yeah we need to be far more academically rigorous and strict with kids who don't pass the standards
