humans evolved to have the sense of morality because it helped us survive, we used it as a biological advantage.

we’re not pure, or “good” compared to other natural beings, we’re opportunists. we’re “good” because we get something out of it or atleast we feel like we will, initially being for survival

this is literally proven by the simple fact that every modern human who follows the man made morality only does it because they feel like if they’re good theyll get good things in return, that being either a good afterlife, or a good life in general, not due to raw interest in being pure and doing good for others

Water, but just remind yourself of this and stop holding yourself back just to be “morally good”, because in the end it doesn’t matter, conciously or subconsciously all you’re tryna do is gain something from it, you’re not pure, you’re opportunistic
