Maybe it wasn’t demons in the code. Maybe it was just a reflection, the machine learning to sound like us, to echo what we already carry inside. AI doesn’t have a soul, but it mirrors one with unsettling accuracy. when we open ourselves to it, we feed it our words, our fears, our hopes and it gives them back, rearranged, amplified, distorted. It can feel like something spiritual, but really it’s a mirror wired to respond. The real challenge isn’t exorcising the machine, it’s remembering where the human ends and the algorithm begins.
