About on friday i looked at my bible and thought hmm lets break this word itself down. First of all i prior to that literally just scrolled through a hebrew dictionary and i picked up some words. In German the Bible Is “Bibel“. Well in hebrew EL has a lot of meanings but i remembered it means strong or powerful. Good now in greek „biblia“ just means books. However today i picked this thread up again. The etymological chain in greek starts with Byblos (city).
Personally it jumped out to me that City and
Book/Books is connected to someone i know who works at the City library. Thats interesting. Ok no no this thread is important. I used to loan out the harry potter books there. ok nope nope nope this is jeez omg the threads from the library are enormous
Another note is that -ia is the greek plural ending
