If you have your period it's better that your bf let you rest and be patient, sex will not be enjoyable if you have period pain.
He can like doing a massage, tummy massage if you tolerate that etc

from a biological standpoint youre not supposed to do it while on your period. it can push blood back into the uterus causing extreme pain and polyps later on. this tissue growing can also cause endometriosis which is a currently incurable and severely painful condition.

another important point is that the natural ph of a woman's genitals is acidic, and is far less acidic while menstruating. women are highly acidic normally so they can fight off harmful bacteria, but that ability is largely weakened while menstruating. theyre physically not able to protect themselves as much as they usually can. any seminal fluids from a guy that enter will increase the risk of infection and bacteria for the girl

i know its a common thing for people to "not care" about doing it on their period, which is fine in my opinion. however a lot of people dont know this, and if they did, im sure a lot of women especially would be more cautious since it affects them and not the guy. people should have choice, but an informed one
