I go to college and there are no intellectual ppl there.
I can see a lot of teachers that are actually smart, clever, talented, and good in their profession. They choose to teach after being actually good. They never claim intellectualism.
I can also see lots of teachers being pretentious and ass, having no backup to be anything so they stick to be there. These are the ones to claim it.

i suppose humility often coincides with it

Obviously physics is enormously more important than some other “subjects”, but if I have a background in physics I’m not necessarily better
