idk if i've got a point of writing this but Is anyone else suddenly interested in learning about history and stuff?
LIke 1 month ago I was out with a group of friends, but then after I decided to go, and I was walking through this long park with a lake at night, and I just sat down and was like 'I don't know anything' and then I just downloaded a bunch of language learning apps and started listening to audiobooks and reading etc which is exactly the types of things which I used to see as plain and boring for people who are like retired (I now take back that opinion).
It's not that I enjoy the actual learning (i dont hate it either just neutral feelings about it) but I feel better especially since I'm having conversations with other people about topics which are waay more complex and I've learn't some spanish and italian and conversing simple things with my foreign friends in those languages.
And now i've been looking at different empires in history, wars, species of animals, different philosophers and their books and religion.
I kind of get it why people are interested in history etc but is this just a phase, is anyone else interested in these types of things etc or did you ever get interested in these things randomly overnight?
