I have eaten both Iranian and American pistachios. The difference is clear. Iranian pistachios taste better.

Iranian pistachios are sweet and soft to chew but they are smaller in size. It is more pinkish.

American pistachios are not sweet but nutty. They are big and dark green. It tastes like it got burnt in sun.
