maybe its because tans usually makes you more striking. A good looking person standing out extra vs a bad looking person

But like kind of a mix of cool and olive like pinkish undertones look red on me but greenish undertones look grey

most of the time its overdone so it looks weird, but most white ppl would ascend with a little tan

Gender irrelevant,both arguably look better one way depending on subjective preference. Yes pale may seem as more feminine but for example Adriana Lima wouldn’t have such mogger coloring if she wasn’t tanned.
