not mourning his loss or having empathy for him immediately is also a healthy feeling. you cant expect those feelings of empathy for somebody if he himself never outwardly extended empathy. not being sad about it isnt the same as being happy or celebrating. expecting an immediate switch of respect and feelings for him because of his death isnt always realistic.

I don't agree with his gun policies and yes, I have seen his comments on keeping the 2nd amendment by accepting school shootings. He bit the bullet, metaphorically and literally. But saying he lacks empathy by not allowing illegal, undocumented migrants (who, all we know, could just want to kill americans) in is crazy. Don't blame the people kicking illegal immagrints out, blame the people who made the legal process so long and tedious.

i think people say he has no empathy because of his view on the people suffering in gaza, saying it was their fault for their suffering because of hamas. he also admitted to hating the concept of empathy itself, so I see why people claim he had none of it. the problem is he just disagreed on what things should be a "moral outrage" which makes people believe he has no empathy.

his use of slurs and such is also something clearly seen as a bigoted thing. he also heavily criticized the civil rights movement, calling it a mistake and saying MLK was awful and not a good person, which people can see as bigoted as well.

its not all about immigration, but all of the other things he said in between. i can see why people hated him so much if you had different views because of the harsh way he goes about topics that he disagrees with
