i mean the amount of studying, the years it takes.. do you think it's worth it/achievable/realistically something that someone who doesn't have a passion for it could handle?

Well it depends, would you study medicine for a basic job like being a Nurse or Doctor? Or do you want to be something more, like a scientist at a pharmaceutical company?

why not?

probably doctor, being a nurse is a waste
Then no it isn't worth all the years you spend studying. If you REALLY want to be a doctor then you should try and find a course that is like a few months to a year long.

Basic job jfl

Because why would you? There are other careers that, assuming you are smart enough to be a doctor, you could do that pay better, better course, better working conditions, benefits, time off, etc when you remove the ‘passion’ aspect

And like you said that’s not even accounting for the years and years of extra education you have to go through

It seems you don't understand what vocation means. I'd recommend reading a bit of what Aristotle said about the topic before making the decision

Or just do like everyone else and go for what pays the most/gives the most status

I’m going into 4th year rn in med school and idk but hopefully it will be worth it
how much are you studying daily? more or less

i guess that's true, i'm only asking because it seems like the most appealing option (least unappealing)

i know what vocation is, i just don't really have any. i'd just be a neet if i could kek

Boys it’s not like I take the whole full hours studying trust me it’s not as hard as it sounds. And ya in exam days you gotta study a lot more most pressure are in these days

if you don’t have the passion for it no really, you’ll grow to hate your job. If you still like medical fields you can always go into one that doesn’t require medschool, some specific ones just require a masters degree and a license.
