My thyroid TSH is like 8.63, getting cucked cuz it is technically "subclinical hypothyroidism" right now, but hypothyroid runs in my family, so hoping to convince my doctor to let me go on medication. I have had it tested twice in the past year and it was already high the first time (5.63) and then jumped up 3 a year later. I think it is worsening my depression too

Yeah hypothyroidism is really really poorly treated and there's barley anything you can do it fucking sucks

My grandma manages it well with her meds at least her numbers went way down after getting on medication, not sure what symptoms if any she experienced
