is there any way to fix my narrow jaw?

I have a pretty narrow jaw, add that to the fact that i have an overbite/overjet and my teeth are fucked up.
does gettin braces fix this somewhat? is there anything i can do to fix my narrow jaw like hard chewing? it looks somewhat decent on my side profile.
I'm considering getting a marpe + braces but i dont have much now, so it'll probably take a while.
