Mutual affection, care and deep regard for another person probably

I can use vague materialistic reductionist rhetoric to "explain" any sort of human emotion but that doesn't really say anything meaningful about said emotion does it? You merely described what you think love boils down to.

My issue also was with your using of the word "scientifically". How was that a "scientific" explanation of anything?

Technically everything we do can be summarized as hormones and chemicals. It's like the debate of "do we have free will or is it just our brain making choices for us seconds in advance?" and it really doesn't matter because the answer is "they're the same thing."

no such thing as true love, there's no perfect relationship/love
nobody is going to unconditionally love you. There will always be issues in a relationship or moments when it kind of dies down.
