when every serious situation keeps getting turned into a joke people eventually stop knowing when something should actually be taken seriously, joking around all the time and brushing everything off like its not a big deal just makes people think they can say or do whatever they want without consequences. not everything needs to become a meme or be laughed at 24/7 at some point there has to be a limit and people need to recognize when something is genuinely wrong instead of acting like everything is just a joke
