Hi, I recently joined this forum
For a short guy like me at 5'6 my main goal is to look manlier and thus build more muscle.

I would say I have a baby face and am quite skinny (close to 135lb or 60kg) which isn't attractive to the vast majority of women out there. I know being short is pretty much a death sentence no matter how skinny or jacked you are but I'd rather be strong and short than weak and short, would also boost my lacking confidence and make me a more useful man in general.

My plan for building muscle is calisthenics in my room (plus some dumbbell exercises) for now since I can't affort going to the gym, I have to prioritize studying first and lifting takes a lot of time in my experience. I've had good results with a muscle building program I've written for myself. If any of you are interested you can message me but don't expect crazy stuff, just an upper lower routine with lots of volume using bodyweight exercises and dumbbells.

Worth mentioning Wheat Waffles rated me a 4/10 which is pretty bad but he also said I have 6/10 potential (although that would be just because he wants me to buy his products, but he seems like a good guy idk)

I'm also diffusely balding since I was 17 and I've been on finasteride and minoxidil but gave up since they cost a lost in my country and they're hard to access, and minoxidil tends to irritate my skin. However despite my balding I can still have a decent haircut. Thankfully I can grow out a thick beard.

That's pretty much it I've yapped enough. Kissless Virgin if that matters

Calisthenics is a good thing, it is the best form to obtain an aesthetic physique who match the female gaze. Focus on shoulders, back, neck and forearms in priority to add frame to your look

Don't hesitate to lean bulk

You need to fight for your hair, because a beard won't save you that much, especially at 17yo
Finasteride can be used topically if you're able to do DIY, and any minoxidil use should be followed by the use of glycerin as a moisturizer

I'm 22 now actually
Focus on shoulders, back, neck and forearms in priority to add frame to your look
Funny thing is this is exactly what i'm planning on, extensive work for the neck shoulders and forearms. I feel like I already have a good back from all the pullups and rows I did
You need to fight for your hair
I fought for it enough and it still kept falling maybe a transplant in the upcoming years would fix this. But although my hair is much thinner I can still have a decent haircut.
lose bf% and weight lift then go into calisthenics and train untill you achieve the plance
What I actually plan to do is train calisthenics and isolation exercises for the arms, delts, forearms and neck and then transition into weight lifting with heavy squats deadlifts benches and ohps. Will be a fun journey. Also considering MMA but I have to do lots of cardio and stretching for it
