Serious Looks disparity in friend groups

As we all know there are better looking and worse looking people this is basic knowledge but how much of a role does it play in friendships. Essentially the friend who is the best looking out in a mixed look disparity friend group will see you guys as less before you say this is not true he is a “good” friend to me. No he simply feels sympathetic towards you cause he knows he mogs you in every aspect physically. But now let’s say this doesn’t exist and the disparity in your group is mtn and mtn and like high ltn for example both of the mtns will lead a life closer to each other so naturally they split off together and the ltn becomes the “floater friend” and becomes an option for each of them to pick when they can’t hangout together. Most men always forget it’s always competitive even outside of dating. Friends will sacrifice you for the littlest attention from girls or just straight up leave you after they find a gf.

I have noticed that in most female friend groups, most of them are at the same lvl tbh. But the “ugliest” one usually gets treated poorly by others, and the “prettiest” is the leader.

This is sadly the nature we humans live by most attractive people are seen as more competent and trust worthy but you usually see this more in girl friend groups.

yes it happens but it’s not as deep as you think, male friendships aren’t the same as women, the less lucky one with looks will feel a bit different because he won’t go through the same experiences his peers gone through with women but other than that it’s nothing else

Idk based on my experience in male groups they usually compete over status/money/ physical strength, in a friendly way too, never heard about a group of guys overvaluing the prettiest lol

If you are ugly or have a major failo the other people will obviously pick up subconsciously or not and treat you based of it. That’s why its extremely important to be at least mtn and have some positive traits about you.

Physical strength sure but mostly physical stature like frame/muscle. Bigger frame = more threatening and more dimorphic so to males if they take you down or “outpower” you it boosts ego

I think the looks aspect would be brought up mostly as a joke, like if you have a butt ugly friend you’d like tell you him you look like ass in a joking manner ofc or if you have a good looking friend you’d tell him you must be breaking hearts for example, but again it’s all in a joking context and it doesn’t really matter at the end of the day
