even the language is hinting at possession, "shes mine" "i need her"
up to the goycial media displays of relationships, is correlated with a form of public claim of ownership

along with the feelings assosiated with love, jealousy, which is just the fear or agressave need to retain/earn your exlusive access to the person, this language can easily be reverbed as if were talking about propertys
up untill even marriage, which is in a perspective your proofs of transaction

all this to say that the social media stereotype and posts abt "relationship goals" is really just the territorial drive with a good marketing
