Marpe/palate expansion as a girl

16 y/o getting braces work done. I have a very slight overbite/jut and my first ortho wanted to do extractions. Wasn't into it and going to a different dr and planning on going the other route.

Only thing is what's the difference in results with marpe for women. My jaw is not super recessed so it hasn't been a big concern but it's softer.. So worried that a wider jaw will nerf me... ie Brooke shields.
Helps pls also if anyone here has gotten it done
I guess it also depends on exactly how much wider it becomes

Marpe doesn't make the face look more masculine because it doesn't widen the corners of the jaw

i did it when i was like 10
it doesnt widen ur lower jaw
