Never have ancient people tolerated other's suffering from rituals if it doesn't benefit them(excluding semites) It's only the modern day brainlets that impose their beliefs on others to create an endless cycle of suffeirn. Its' apparent when you see them eating kfc and watermelon and imposing wagies on others. It;s apparent when you see them cuss for no reason on 4cchan. They wanna feel special while they take their morning shit, they wanna feel special for not suffering. And they get this weird bamboo in stomach knowjng that others are suffering while they are not, whn in reality no one has to be suffering.

I guarantee you 100% that if all the earth's language was confused , then all the zoomies will run off and fondle all stone caricatures believing it's the end of the world. Another 3000 zoomies will end up forming the rat king by fondling that same stone caricature.

Ancient societies absolutely did tolerate and often institutionalize suffering that didn’t benefit the individual: slavery, human sacrifice, caste systems, forced labor, ritual mutilation, and public executions were widespread across cultures. These weren’t acts of compassion; they were mechanisms of power, tradition, or fear. Pretending the past was more rational or humane than the present is just romanticizing history.

The idea that “modern people impose beliefs” as something new is also off. Every society enforces norms religious, moral, or economic on others. The difference today is that those norms are debated publicly instead of being unquestionable. That friction isn’t proof of degeneration; it’s evidence of pluralism.

As for the generational caricatures: lumping millions of people into “zoomies” or reducing behavior to internet stereotypes isn’t analysis, it’s scapegoating. Confusing language, social anxiety, or symbolism with mass irrationality ignores how humans have always responded to uncertainty often far worse than anything you see online.

there are some problems, but it just a masquerade really.
