I think it's the most bland and basic "intrest" oat it's just like so fucking default Same with movies (although that I can respect more.) I'm not saying liking artists and talking about them and music is bad but I can't stand people who make it their whole personality or try to seem different because of it.

It's borderline not even an "intrest" for most people who claim it to be because it's simply human nature to enjoy music unless you truly learn the ins and outs and/or enjoy participating in music itself which I've noticed most dont

also they usually tend to have the most popular/common music taste ever, not that that's a bad thing just it doesn't help the case of the fake quirkiness
