are the only ones who have never said anything positive about my appearance, even though i get compliments from friends, girls and even random people i meet. They’ve kept the same toxic attitude for years, never saying a single good word.

They only ever point out flaws, making me forget all the work I’ve put into myself, and making it feel impossible to escape lookism, even though i try.

although your family is supposed to be the ones who motivate you and uplift you the most, some families can be extremely harsh and rude. im assuming your not a sub-3 since you still get compliments and attention from others so they are most likely just rude. i would ignore and stay motivated since your doing it for yourself not them.
