you can find good girls second hand for much cheaper. Expensive ≠ quality. Most of the time youre paying for the brand name, not the material, beauty, or durability.

Figuring which brands are overpriced and which ones make quality long lasting products comes down to your own research and experience. But I think it’s better to have three nice pieces than thirty cheap ones.

If you mean replicas, there is nothing to replicate. These are middle class brands from the 2000s that either went bankrupt or changed their styles. Their retail price was either the same or slightly higher.

And since youre so obsessed with prices, there are many pieces from the same kind of brands selling for 100$+ second hand. Same cotton, wool, cashmere material and conditions. They are just more known and therefor wanted, as your new-fashion clothes are.

It's not only about the material name. There are tiers for the materials as well, not to mention superior craftsmanship and stitching.
