First of all, I just wanna say that I'm a gym coach, I'm no nutritionist but I did do my research and found out what's working the best for me regarding gains.
Also, it's worth mentioning that this is my first time writing something of that sort and that I'm new to the forum, so please be considerate.
Background:
I have been training for 5-6 years now (with taking some breaks due to personal reasons), I always had a tendency to get fat. I remember losing 14KGs by doing a shit ton of cardio back when I was 14. Then I gained it all back, then enrolled and lost another 12KG in army training.
Then again, gained weight and now over the course of the last 8 months, I've shed 21KGs of mostly if not entirely fat.
Diet (avoid estrogen):
- No soy
- No raw fish
Basically abstain yourself from Asian cusine.
- No beer
No alcohol at all is the best but if you can't give it up entirely like me, then beer especially is damaging your hormonal balance.
What you should consume:
- Omega 3
Not capsules, the body digests everything that's natural and less processed better. Make sure to eat at least some sort of fish a day
Antioxidants:
- Pomegranate (as is or juice)
- Berries (Blueberries, blackberries, raspberries)
Lots of electrolytes and metals sources:
- Canned tuna
- Sardines
- Bananas
- 90% cocoa and above noir chocolate (the more % the better)
Cut on sugars:
- Want a soda? Buy a diet one, almost no difference in taste and saves lots of calories, great deal.
- Making a coffee? Don't add sugar, milk has already got lactose.
- Want something sweet? Feel a sugarcrush? A teaspoon of honey will make you set.
Note: the most preferred type of honey is raw bees honey, then bees honey, then raw honey and last is honey made straight from flowers.
No fap is also important:
- Starts taking effect after 24-48hrs, clears your mind and improves focus and overall mood.
- Sex drive decreases after 48-72hrs. Hormonal balance.
You start having more confidence, being less horny, and trust me, people start to notice. It's as if you become a more charismatic version of yourself by giving up lust.
Other than that:
- Skip breakfast, cereal companies' propaganda, you're not even hungry when you wake up.
- Caffeine abuse, find it hard to skip breakfast? Drink coffee.
- Cortisol levels!!! Do not drink coffee until at least a hour and a half since you wake up passes. Wait 1.5-2h at least!
- Sleep schedule, more important than the actual amount of hours of sleep you get. Get your biological clock used to your daily schedule, go to bed and wake up around the same time each day.
