i had a convo with my mom earlier today and it led to us talking about looks. i asked her about what qualities women look for in a guy, and she goes rambling on about personality. i asked her if looks are a big part of her picking her husband and she says no, then proceeds to talk about how looks dont matter and how my dad and her are average. this genuinely baffled me bc like she was insisting that looks had nothing to do with her picking my dad. for reference my dad is chad (in the photo and pfp) and my mom is mtb or maybe hmtb. its so sad to see how hypergamous my mother is, i partially blame my mother for my looks and i think i hold some resentment because of this.

im js saying this bc i feel like i got bad genetic lottery and i feel crazy jealousy of my dad. also my dad constantly downplays his looks and disregards them. saying he doesnt look that good or that the way he got treated in life didnt rlly change. ts so ironic bc he literally had so many opportunities and modeled around the world while having multiple gfs. hes very old and settled down very late , i think he got married at 45. ig im js jealous ill never live such a easy and fun life like him.
