My inner monologue is more entertaining than any podcast—wish you all could tune in

I would like to have the ability to turn it off

In exams I get paranoid because the whole room is silent but I speak in my mind so vividly that when I snap back to reality I'm afraid I was straight up whispering

Though when I ask people they always say I'm just quiet, but it gets me paranoid

That sounds tough, but if people say you’re quiet, your thoughts aren’t spilling out. Maybe grounding techniques could help with the paranoia. You’re definitely not alone in feeling that way.
