first tuber guide lifemaxxing thread dropping now, I'm too uncreative to make like nice looking threads so I'll just keep it straight forward & understandable for everyone

I've read that a lot of people just buy their cryptos on centralized exchangers like Coinbase or Binance and just keep their coins here, don't do that because like in @NewFuckingDay's situation, they can alwas block your wallet, and worst case if there's a breach they can be gone. That's why we will be using wallets where you own your private keys, the ideal way to store your cryptos are hardware wallets my recommendations are:

https://trezor.io/ & https://bitbox.swiss/

A lost of people also use Ledger & recommend it too, but I'm not a big fan of them since they added "Ledger Recover" you theoretically can store your seedphrases online, which I'm not a big fan of personally, on top Trezor is open source, BitBox is not fully open sourced, but I've used them a long time too without any issues. But out of them both I would always use Trezor.

But I'm not considering that any of you is planning to store a lot of money anyway, so that would be a waste of money, the option above is just if you're planning to hoard cryptos. That's why we'll proceed to the wallets you can use on your phone or on your computer.

1) If you are planning to store different altcoins, I can recommend you using https://www.exodus.com/ but I don't use them personally anymore.
2) If you're planning to store Monero I'll recommend you https://featherwallet.org/ (computer) & https://www.monerujo.app/ (mobile)
3) For only using Bitcoin https://electrum.org/ (computer & android) & https://bluewallet.io/ (mobile)

NEVER STORE YOUR SEEDS ONLINE not even on your computer or phone locally, ALWAYS write them down on a piece of paper, or if you're planning to store a lot of money get something like this: https://trezor.io/trezor-keep-metal-single-share

I've been using all of the recommended wallets & ways above to store multiple 100k+ € for a while now, and I never had any issues or lost any money.

1) Never give your seeds to anyone else, they have full access with your seeds to your money.
2) Never store your coins in any place where you dont have the full control over your coins, the money on Coinbase, Binance and all other exchangers is NOT YOUR money! They can freeze it, ban your account, they can go bankrupt, lock withdrawals etc. Not Your Keys, Not Your Coins.

Already on it king, if I see that I get my exchange wallet unlocked I’m immediately sending it to exodus and never using coinbase again
yes, if you're buying coins on there it's a good way to get them easy & without a lot of effort, but for storing it's over

Yeah thats the excuse I gave them when I came up with one on the spot, that I was sending my shit to my multiple different wallets I owned
