I seem to always offend people, unintentionally. I tell the truth, or at take things literally, and this seems to annoy people.

I've started to realize that short humorous comments, that are positive, not negative or critical, in response to questions asked by others, should always be preferred instead of honest, detailed answers.

Yeah, irl but now I understand even on internet forums and in video games I noticed. A constant state of short positive statements. No discussion. I suspect that working one's way up a company is like that too. Always positive. Always a yes man. Always short responses. Nice and socially palatable.

Legit theory. I've wasted hundreds of hours of my life having internet arguments (in video games, forums, irl jfl). I am just disagreeable and make the assumption that people want discussion (that they seek the truth and want to work towards it collectively). My realization, as a mid twenties virgin, is no one wants to discuss, people just want to be given positive attention and praise.

This is probably true. It is hard to be friends with ugly people. And if 2 ugly people are friends, they drag each other down emotionally and socially.
We both probably need to hardmaxx and get appropriate surgeries. I have 2 surgeries planned this year.

He's coping. Looks always matter. The ugly guy in the friendship group is always given less attention and has to jestermaxx to be heard.
Maybe 1 on 1 friendship there can be looks asymmetry but even then, the friendship is limited in terms of what you can do.

Imagine if Chad was friends with a sub5; they can't go clubbing because sub5 feels bad when Chad gets everyone and Chad's status decreases by association with sub5.
