I would starve when I couldn't get good food because of the muh downsides
The fact if its natural or not is still very debatable
It's very good, but an important reminder: never stress
starvation = stress

Orthorexia nervosa is perhaps best summarized as an obsession with healthy eating with associated restrictive behaviors. However, the attempt to attain optimum health through attention to diet may lead to malnourishment, loss of relationships, and poor quality of life.

Tbh I would have that but then I’d just say fuck it and end up eating junk food because I was starving

That’s why I hate strict dieting now

This resonates with me. I used to be like that for a period of time, stressing about eating a slice of bread, not having my beef rare enough, and overall trying to eat perfectly. The truth is, in this society and with my financial state, I will never eat a perfect diet 100% of the time. Over time I've managed to stop stressing as much. All stress is bad for you, and having that perspective has really changed me. Obviously you should try to eat as best you can, but never obsess over it to the point of worry and stress. Thanks for the post, it actually sits with me. I yearn to be entirely stress free.
