wannabe tall girl
hey girls
I'll start off with the most reputable supplements and slowly go down to the more obscure/unstudied ones;
I'll also talk about doses and which foods you can eat if you dont wanna buy supplements
note: if you want to buy supplements irl ask your pharmacist if you're a regular/their friend if they can recommend you the "good stuff" or the more pure stuff
note 2: these are SUPPLEMENTS, not solutions. if you're not eating to lose weight or taking vitamins then you're risking potential height
prices will definitely vary from country to country so i won't be mentioning them
TIP: take an xray if you can of your growth plates to see if theyre closed first, they usually close between 15-18 for girls. this will save you time trying to grow from these supplements or anything really.
1. arginine (amino acid)
this amino acid can stimulate growth hormone secretion, which is the hormone that makes you grow, although it wont do much unless you are deficient and that's why you're short.
best food sources: meat, nuts, dairy products
- supplementation: please do not take a dose higher than 9g/day as this can cause low blood pressure and a whole lot of other stuff
- what i use: potenciator 5g liquid arginine // drink one every morning after breakfast
- personal note: i had a slight bit of diarrhea when i took my first ampoule of this but it was fine the next day

2. vitamin k2
vitamin k2 guides calcium outside of your arteries and into your bones
best food sources: liver, egg, dairy products, etc
-i don't have this yet, i plan on getting it; note from my pharmacist was to keep the dose fairly low
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC12044740/
3. cow colostrum
it's the yellow milk that a cow produces after giving birth. it's more dense in nutrients, although the practice can be unethical and that's why its lower on this list, i understand why some people would be bothered by that. nonetheless, you can buy it as a powdered version. its expensive though
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11279796/
4. vitamin e (least credible)
has anti-estrogen properties that may help keep the growth plates open as they close due to estrogen. a bit controversial this one, but its used in aromatase inhibitors and we are NOT going to take medicine that isn't ours.
best food sources: seeds, oils, greens, some kinds of fish
-what i use: lifeplan vitamin e 400iu // take one in the morning after breakfast (doesn't have to be every day)
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/16091003/
and remember! even if nothing happens, these supplements are good for your immunity (colostrum), skin(vitamin e), and general health (k2/ARG) which is great for healthmax. dont give up
what do you think? i am open to supplement recommendations, open to criticisms and corrections, i will try to update this as much as i can
