And idk about u but 2000s fashion has been making a huge ass comeback (probably why the op wants to dress that way) so this type of style isn’t really deemed corny anymore atleast where im from. y2k is too connoted, if u want advices i usually wear a high top sneakers (Alexander tread slick or diors b23) with a simple jean/a flare jean and a sweater with details (i usually wear a old st laurent black sweater i got for 40eur on vinted) , a basic hoodie with a scarf (u can get an old burberry scarf for 20eur on vinted) or a hoodie with fur on the hood. Add a good jacket (i recommend the green fur hood jacket from zara or a cp company one bcs mine still in good state after 4,5 years) and some accessories like glasses, ring and earrings.

I would recommend y2k from genuine vintage not fast fashion because a lot of times it will come not as ordered. i would find some broke depop sellers or thrift. ive done this for my wardrobe and its pretty tuff
