i apologize for typos and misspellings in advance
so today i went to the gym with my friend, no text from the guy that i like so i was pretty sad about that. my friend was a big help with getting me to push myself and being able to forget about not getting any messages from him that day.
on our second to last machine, which was the shoulder press, we were talking in between a set and all of a sudden he came up behind the shoulder press and sat down on the floor right in front of me waiting for me to notice him. i saw him in my peripheral and looked to him and said “oh hey” IN SHOCK he literally came out of no where and it made me so nervous. he said “wanna swap phones” as a joke and showed me his broken and messed up phone. i laughed and asked what he was doing today and he said “back and bis” then he told me he would let me finish my set and went to the machine he was gonna use.
after he left i realized i didn’t give him the keychain i bought for him while i was at a flea market with my friends, so i took it out and unwrapped it. i came up behind him after his set and dangled the keychain in front of him, it was a black and white little kitty cat keychain. i know he likes cat and the colors black and white so i told him thats why i chose that. he smiled and said “wow this is the best thing you could’ve got me, i know where to put this” and he immediately took out his car keychain thing and put the cat on there. then i said “okay ill let you finish your set, ill see you later” and went back to my friend for our last thing.
fast forward, we are all done with our last thing and we are getting ready to leave so we head to the locker room. after leaving the locker room i decided to go to him and say bye. i went up to him and said “hey im leaving so i just wanted to say bye” and he reponds with “already?” i said “yeah we’re all done now” and before i get to leave he tells me he wants to go out with me, just us, and that he needs to find a time to do that with me, he said he would let me know.
after this my friend told me that he was smiling and laughing a lot around me and that he seemed very interested, so i hope this is a good sign and that this is headed in the right direction!!
